SLEEP
NorthStar Medical Specialists is an established 18-year accredited Sleep Medicine and Sleep Disorders Center. We currently have a need for a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner for our growing Sleep Medicine department.
We are seeking a PA-C or ARNP to perform a variety of duties in the evaluation, treatment planning, and management of patients. Candidate must have excellent communication, interpersonal skills and compassion when working with patients. Experience in Sleep Medicine is preferred, but we will train the right candidate. We provide a positive culture of teamwork, collaboration and professionalism.

Nutrition Specialist Bariatric Medicine
NorthStar Medical Specialists is a multi-specialty medical practice, specializing in Sleep Medicine, Pulmonary Rehabilitation and Medical and Surgical Weight Management. We currently have a need for apart time Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner who specializes in nutrition education.
We are seeking a PA-C or ARNP to perform a variety of duties in the evaluation, treatment planning, and management of patients. Candidate will assess patient medical history, including nutritional status, diet history, and food habits. Conducts individual sessions to discuss patient’s nutritional needs and determine risk factors. Confers with physician and other clinicians as appropriate on effect of nutritional status. Candidate must have excellent communication, interpersonal skills and compassion when working with patients. Experience in Bariatric Medicine is preferred, but we will train the right candidate. We provide a positive culture of teamwork, collaboration and professionalism.

SLEEP
Registered Polysomnographic Technologist (RPSGT)
NorthStar Medical specializes in Sleep Medicine, Medical Weight Management and Pulmonary Rehabilitation. We currently have a need for a full-time Registered Polysomnographic Technologist.
We are a free standing, state-of-the-art sleep lab and looking for individuals with strong analytical skills, who are detail oriented and have good interpersonal communication skills. This is a full time night position.
Responsibilities include patient education, PSGs, CPAP/BiPAP titrations, oxygen administration and troubleshooting. Our technologists work 12-hour shifts, 7:00pm to 7:00am. This position also allows for possible daytime PSGs/MSLTs.
Education and requirements: RPSGT and has experience in a healthcare setting, preferably in a sleep or neurodiagnostic lab.
