Medical Assistant – Full Time
NorthStar Medical specializes in Sleep Medicine, Medical Weight Management and pulmonary rehabilitation. Our team is growing and we currently have a need for a full time Medical Assistant demonstrating compassion, respect and caring while working with our patients.
Primary responsibility will be rooming patients for our five providers, process directives, maintain records for all three specialties and various other duties. We’re looking for someone who works well in a fast-paced environment and can move quickly from one patient to the next while staying on schedule and being pleasant and friendly.
Requirements for this position include excellent customer service skills and an exceptional level of professionalism, organization and friendliness. Medical office experience and/or medical terminology are necessary. You must be comfortable in a fast-paced environment and be able to multi-task with ease. Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant
Medical and Surgical Weight Management
NorthStar Medical specializes in Sleep Medicine, Medical Weight Management and Pulmonary Rehabilitation. We currently have a need for a full time Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant for our growing Medical/Surgical Weight Management department.
We are seeking a PA-C/ARNP to perform a variety of duties in the evaluation, treatment planning, and management of patient care in medically supervised weight management and perioperative care of surgical patients. Candidate must have excellent communication, interpersonal skills and empathy for patients with the diagnosis of morbid obesity, obesity and overweight. Ideal candidate will have experience in internal medicine/primary care and management of chronic diseases related to obesity. A strong desire to prevent or reverse health issues related to weight is important. Experience in nutritional and behavioral counseling would be beneficial, however we will train the right candidate.
